I meant to post this yesterday but ran out of time...
Owen was helping me do his laundry today. He would pull an item out of his basket, hand it to me, and then I would put it in the correct pile. After we emptied the basket, he picked up the basket and tried to put it back where it went. He then picked up one of the piles of laundry and started carrying it to the washer and dryer. It was pretty cute and he is becoming such a big boy! When I got back from starting the load, I was looking round for him and found him IN his crib! He had climbed INTO his crib all by himself. He had never done that before. I wonder if that means that he will be climbing OUT of it now...Guess we will have to see!
I can tell it is summer because I am pretty sure that Owen took a bath for the first time in like 4 days today. Don't judge.
I got a ticket today and I was pretty upset about it because it was totally stupid. I am pretty sure the cop just had nothing else to do with his time and was trying to give as many people he could give a ticket to a ticket for anything that he could give them a ticket for. It was seriously ridiculous and I think I am going to fight it.
I made some grilled fish tacos for dinner tonight and they were sooo good! What really made it was the cilantro lime vinaigrette that goes with it. Yum! I seriously wanted to drink it with a straw! Here is the link for the recipe if anyone is interested, I know I am always looking for new and good recipes:

Last but not least, Nick wanted me to come with him to the gym tonight and do a weight workout. We got my parents to babysit Owen while we went and I've got to tell ya, I am pretty sure I am the weakest person on the planet. It was pathetic! But, it definitely gave me some motivation to keep going back so that I can get a little bit of muscle and get stronger! Nick was such a good sport about it though and was so patient and took me around to all the machines and showed me how to use it, explained to me in scientific terms what muscles it worked and how it worked them, etc. I was really impressed with how much he has learned through his major. He is seriously going to be such a great physical therapist one day!

I've heard about the fish tacos, but I've never been brave enough to try them. Of course, I've never been brave enough to cook fish before, either... raised by a dairy farmer's daughter so mostly I just cook beef and turkey! :-)
